Transition to Manufacturing (T2M)

Expert T2M Services

working in the t2m area

Our T2M teams are experts in advanced manufacturing and Design for Excellence (DFX). By engaging as early as possible in the design process in collaborative design reviews and product building (co-building) with our customers, we are able to optimize and validate designs before we transition to full-scale manufacturing.

Through an array of focused T2M services that are tailored specifically to your needs, our specialists are here to work with you to identify the optimal path for transitioning your product to successful steady-state production. T2M services include design assessment using elements of DFX. These include DFM/A (Design for Manufacturing / Assembly), DFSC (Design for Supply Chain), DFT (Design for Test), and DFS (Design for Service).

  • DFM/A assesses manufacturing readiness, supports process development and validation up to and including pilot production on actual manufacturing equipment
  • DFSC is focused on Supply Chain optimization: deliberate choices for part sourcing; risk monitoring, management, and traceability
  • DFT includes test strategy design, development, validation and implementation for each specific product or assembly
  • DFS ensures that products are serviceable, and that there are proven strategies in place to optimize responsiveness

T2M services increase manufacturing quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness both at launch and beyond. You’re the expert in creating the ideas and designs that lead to innovation. And we’re here to make manufacturing easy for you. Promise.

At Cirtronics, we have the experience and the capacity to bring your ideas to life.
